  • Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography Journals Achieve New Record High Impact Factors

    The Chinese Academy of Sciences' Center for Literature and Information has released the 2021 China Science Citation Index (CSCD-JCR), and the impact factors of the Chinese-language journals "Arid Geography" and "Journal of Arid Zone Research" hosted by the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences, have steadily risen, setting new records. The impact factor of "Arid Geography" reached 1.8687, an increase of 24% from 2020, ranking it in the Q1 quartile in the fields of astronomy and earth science. The impact factor of "Journal of Arid Zone Research" reached 1.6917, setting a new record and continuing to rank in the Q1 quartile in the fields of agricultural science, astronomy, and earth science.
