  • Journal of Arid Zone Research Impact Factor Breaks 2.27 in 2023

    The Chinese Academy of Sciences' Center for Literature and Information has released the 2023 China Science Citation Index (CSCD-JCR), and the Journal of Arid Zone Research (AZR) has seen its impact factor rise steadily to 2.2715, an increase of 10.5% from 2022 (2.0549), setting a new record and solidifying its position in the Q1 quartile in the fields of astronomy, earth science, and agricultural science.

    "Arid Zone Research" gives full play to the regional characteristics of arid and semi-arid regions and the geographical advantages of the Silk Road Economic Belt, comprehensively strengthens the construction of high-quality manuscript sources, journal running mechanism, talent team and communication capacity, improves the quality of manuscript sources, speeds up the review cycle, shorens the publication cycle, and strengthens the publicity effect of digital platforms and new media. The evaluation indexes of periodicals have steadily increased, and the publishing quality and comprehensive academic influence have gradually improved.

    Founded in 1984, "Arid Zone Research" publishes innovative research on water, soil, biology, climate and environment in arid areas. Starting from the characteristics of running the journal, "Arid Zone Research" focuses on the connotation construction, always pays attention to the adjustment of national economic policies and the establishment of major science and technology projects, timely analyzes hot topics, sets columns from a unique perspective, and actively organizes experts to write articles. Actively establish comprehensive academic journals with regional characteristics in arid areas.
