Based on the field investigation and studying weeds in north Xinjiang in recent years, 3 new exotic plant species and 1 new record genus in Xinjiang were reported, they are Erigeron annuus (L.) Pers., Galinsoga quadriradiata Ruiz et Pav., Bidens frondosa L. and G. Ruiz et Pav., in which G. Ruiz et Pav. was the new record genus in Xinjiang. The morphological features and the geographic distribution of these plant species in China were described in detail so as to provide the theoretical basis and reference for investigating their current distribution in Xinjiang.
